The Yamhill-Carlton AVA
Vineyards and wineries across the country are grouped into regions, known as American Viticulture Areas (AVAs), based on similarities in climate and soil type. We are located in the southwest corner of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, which sits north of McMinnville and west of Newberg in the Northern Willamette Valley.
The Yamhill-Carlton AVA was established in 2004 and is home to 127 vineyards and 63 wineries, ranging from the world-famous to the small and humble (like us!).
