Your visit to our tasting room will be met with sweeping views of our 9-acre vineyard, hand-planted by Joel in 2005 through 2021. The tasting experience includes vineyard tours (weather permitting), barrel samples, and a guided tasting by the very people who grow the grapes and make the wine.

We have visited wineries in Sonoma, Napa, Walla Walla, Yakima Valley… but the time we spent with Joel and Laurie was head and shoulders above the rest. You are “one-on-one” with the person that pounded in the trellises, planted the grapes, harvested the crop and made the wine.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was our first visit to the Willamette Valley.  Of the six vineyards that we toured, this was by far our favorite.  It was a pleasure sharing the wines with the Joel, the owner, and listening to him describe his introduction to wine making.  The best part--all his wines are outstanding!  We joined his wine club and look forward to enjoying his delicious wines back in North Carolina.  If you get a chance tour this vineyard!

You can tell how much love goes into every part of the process from growing the grapes to pouring the wine. This was our first trip to the Willamette Valley, and we were surprised and delighted when we ended up at J.L. Kiff Vineyards. Joel welcomed us and guided us through a personal tasting while sharing the history of his vineyard. We sampled several wines and were amazed by the flavor and quality throughout the tasting. We brought a few bottles home with us, including the Chardonnay, which we later shared as a gift with our daughter. After tasting it again, our only regret was not purchasing more while we were there. The personal attention, relaxed atmosphere, and outstanding wines made this a visit we would highly recommend.

They made my birthday luncheon and our 40th Anniversary celebration very special. Their Pinot Noir Encore 2017 was delicious and Joel even autographed the bottle for us.
